Why not dive into the world of sports with some predictions for the 2008 MLB season?
National League
East: Mets, Phillies, Braves, Nationals, Marlins
Central: Brewers, Cubs, Reds, Astros, Pirates, Cardinals
West: Dodgers, Rockies, Diamondbacks, Padres, Giants
American League:
East: Red Sox, Yankees, Blue Jays, Devil Rays, Orioles
Central: Tigers, Indians, Twins, White Sox, Royals
West: Angels, Mariners, A’s, Rangers
The division I am pretty unsure about is the National League West. That could go any direction. The only given is that the Giants will end up in the cellar.
I’m a Cubs fan, and I can definitely see them making a run. However, I’m sticking to my guns and picking the Brewers for the NL Central. I’m aware they had a sub .500 record after April last year.
Wild-card picks: Yankees and Phillies.
World Series: Red Sox vs. Mets
My ideal World Series match-up: Cubs vs. Angels
